Back in January, we interviewed Madison-area artist and activist Jenie Gao about Equity for Artists, which was organizing around the idea that professional artists shouldn’t have to give their work away for free. Now, Jenie’s back with a few other artists, and an update – some things haven’t changed, but maybe some progress. Also joining us this morning is Matthew Charles, who recently self-published a debut volume of poetry, entitled “You Can Not Burn the Sun.” T.L. Luke works in print, murals and apparel. And Lillian Sizemore is a writer, mosaic artist and art consultant. All four spoke with Monday Buzz host Brian Standing on August 10, 2020.
