Book lovers rejoice! Starting today, the Madison Public Library branches are now open for expanded in-person services for the first time in over a year. Since this morning, patrons have been flocking to their local branches to use library resources and check out piles of books.
“It’s like a party,” says Rebecca Millerjohn, youth services librarian with the Bubbler.
Today, she joins us along with MPL digital services & marketing manager Tana Elias and community engagement coordinator Annie Weatherby Flowers to share the excitement of reopening day, reflect on what this pandemic year has meant for the library, and discuss exciting new plans for the future of Madison Public Library.
