Today on the show, host Ali Muldrow is joined in the studio by former school board member Ed Hughes and Madison Teachers Inc. executive director Doug Keillor to discuss issues pertaining to Madison K–12 schools, including the budget, upcoming referendums, the search for a new superintendent, and the ongoing fight for public education.
Ed Hughes is a retired attorney. He served on the Madison school board for nine years from 2008 to 2017.
Doug Keillor is the executive director of Madison Teachers Inc., the union representing Madison teachers. He was appointed to this position in 2016 after twenty-five years of working at MTI.
