Harvey Kaye is the Ben & Joyce Rosenberg Professor of Democracy and Justice Studies at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, where he teaches courses on American history, politics, and society. He is the author of numerous books including “Why Do Ruling Classes Fear History?”: And Other Questions (1996), Are We Good Citizens? (2001), The Fight for the Four Freedoms: What Made FDR and the Greatest Generation Truly Great (2014), and most recently Take Hold of Our History: Make America Radical Again (Zero Books, 2019).
