After a contentious election in Wisconsin last week, today we travel back to a more hopeful political time with Mary Lang Sollinger, author of the new book From Inspiration to Activism: A Personal Journey Through Obama’s Presidential Campaign, which gives a behind-the-scenes look at her work in political canvassing and fundraising for Barack Obama.
Mary Lang Sollinger is an activist, fundraiser, and former Madison mayoral candidate from Wisconsin. After leading a series of successful fundraisers for then-Senator Barack Obama in 2007, she was asked to serve on the National Finance Committee in 2008 and 2012.
