Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway has been subpoenaed and ordered to appear in Brookfield on October 22nd.
The reason? An election that happened eleven months ago.
When Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway appears in Brookfield, she’ll be compelled to provide testimony and thousands of pages of documents as part of a Republican-led investigation into the November presidential election.
Rhodes-Conway says that she will comply with the investigation, but she’s asking Assembly Speaker Robin Vos to move the process out from behind closed doors and into the open.
The investigation is being led by former Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman, who has been allocated nearly $680,000 in taxpayer dollars to conduct the probe.
