A years long effort to privatize Medicare, the Trump administration accelerated those efforts by implementing a direct contracting model known as ACO REACH, which encourages health care providers to form an Accountable Care Organization together. South Central Federation of Labor or SCFL will be taking up a resolution Monday calling for the AFL-CIO to ask President Biden to immediately end program.
