For today’s show, we continue our candidate interviews ahead of the spring 2023 election. On Tuesday April 4th, Monona residents will be voting for Mayor, City Council, and School Board. Incumbent Mary O’Connor joins us to talk about her 6 years as mayor and why she is running for another term.
Mary O’Connor was first elected as Monona Mayor in 2017. She is now running for her 4th term. Before she was mayor, Mary was an alderperson from 2012 to 2017. She sat on the Monona Library Board for 15 years. She also served on many foundation boards including the Monona Library Foundation and Monona Grove Education Foundation.
