2 ounces mezcal
1/2 ounce fresh-squeezed lime juice
1 1/2 ounces ginger syrup
4 ounces ginger beer or ale (the gingery the better!)
Copper mugs or glasses are ideal for this drink. Fill your glass with ice, add the mezcal, lime juice, and ginger beer. Stir until cold. Garnish with lime or mint sprig.
