MADISON (WORT) — This week, Madison Mayor Paul Soglin announced that the Philosopher’s Grove art installation at the top of State Street would be removed. Soglin says bad behavior from the chronically homeless and others who congregate at Philosopher’s Grove is endangering public safety.
To get a sense of how the regulars at Philosopher’s Grove and nearby business owners feel about removing the large granite sitting stones, WORT’s Patrick Waring headed down to State Street with a recorder.
