Tomorrow is “History Sandwiched In: A Relic from Lincoln’s Deathbed.” April 14th marks the 150th anniversary of the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. The Wisconsin Historical Society possesses several items from or related to Lincoln, including a bedspread purported to have come from his deathbed. Playing the role of detective, curator Leslie Bellais examines the evidence, sources and theories. Bring a lunch to this informal brown-bag, lunch-and-lecture series.
