Tonight is “Music in the Stacks with Black Marigold” at the Madison Public Library, Monroe Street Branch. Black Marigold was founded in 2012 by five musicians with a desire to perform woodwind quintet music at a high professional level. As advocates of new music and living composers, they present captivating concerts introducing new music, while also highlighting classic woodwind quintet repertoire.This is tonight from 7 to 8pm at the Monroe Street Library, 1705 Monroe Street. This Thursday is “The Social Good Summit – Redefining Entrepreneurship.” The goal of the Summit is to insure that Madison’s efforts to strengthen, expand, and support in the role of entrepreneurship in the region includes investing in our communities. There is a cost for this event. This is Thursday, August 20th from 9:30am to 3:30pm at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery, 330 N. Orchard Street. More info at forwardfest.org.
