Today at noon, The Vigil For Peace celebrates 34 years of standing-for-peace and vigiling-for-justice in the public square of downtown Madison. All are welcome to celebrate Vigil For Peace with a birthday cake and steaming hot tea. This is today from noon to 1pm at the corner of MLK Junior Boulevard and Doty Street. All aboard for Olbrich’s Holiday Express! Now through December 31st, large-scale model trains wind through a holiday scene with poinsettias, evergreens and LEGO displays in Olbrich’s Holiday Express. There is a cost for this event, and admission to the tropical Bolz conservatory is included. It’s open daily from 10am to 4pm at 3330 Atwood Avenue. More info at olbrich.org.
