The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is offering a chance to make your opinions heard about the Madison Beltline. The Beltline Planning Group has conducted a study and come up with ideas to improve all modes of transportation for the Beltline from U.S. 14 in Middleton to County Road N in Cottage Grove. Recommendations include a bus-only lane or carpool lanes. Eight public involvement meetings will be held today through November 18th at different Madison locations. For more info, visit wisconsindot.gov and search for “beltline study.”
The Parental Stress line helps prevent child abuse by connecting parents who are stressed or feeling alone with volunteers who talk with them by phone. Training is necessary. Call 241-4888 for details.
