Tonight, Repower Madison hosts a public forum on the Madison Gas and Electric Billing Scheme. Learn about their radically new billing system that encourages increased use of coal electricity and discourages investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy. The proposal will increase electric bills for low-use customers, and decrease bills for larger users. Speakers include representatives from RENEW Wisconsin, RePowerMadison, the Coalition for the Wisconsin Aging Groups, and Fresh Energy. This free event is at 7pm at the Central Library, 201 West Mifflin.
