The Access Hour is WORT's commitment to community access to the airwaves. For one out of every 168 broadcast hours each week, we turn the airwaves over to a member of the public to program on their own. That hour is every Monday night from 7 to 8pm.The views expressed on the Access Hour do not represent the views of the station, its staff, programmers, or the Board of Directors. However, members of the public agree to follow certain regulatory and broadcast rules when on the air.
In order to keep the show accessible, any individual or group is limited to one show per year. The Access Hour is often booked several months in advance.
