Do YOU love listening to and sharing classical music? We have an immediate opening for a Monday morning volunteer host from 5-8 am. You don’t need radio experience, just passion and knowledge and the desire to share your love of classical music with the public.
Monday’s format is open in terms of types of classical music, but we do have several other shows dedicated to choral music and the medieval/Renaissance/baroque periods invite you to propose your ideal program. We can’t pay you in cash but there are many delightful perks such as free tickets to concerts, interview opportunities, training in all aspects of radio and the love and camaraderie of our listeners and fellow volunteer radio programmers.
See the volunteer job description below and fill out the application online, or drop by the station to pick one up. Contact Sybil Augustine, Music Director with any questions at musicdirector@wortfm.org.
