Noam Chomsky is an American linguist, philosopher, cognitive scientist, social critic, and political activist. He is one of the most influential public intellectuals of our time and has written more than 100 books. He is currently a laureate professor at the University of Arizona, where he’s been since 2017. Before that, he worked as a professor and professor emeritus of linguistics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology since 1955.
