When we look into the night sky, we all know about Cassiopea, Orion the Hunter, Draco the Dragon, or Leo the Lion, all named after Greek myths. But, not everyone looks at the stars through the same lens.
The Manfred Olson Planetarium in Milwaukee is hosting Indigenous Voices-Sharing the Night Sky March 23 through May 4th. Jean Creighton got her Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo, has directed the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee’s Manfred Olson Planetarium, and is a frequent contributor to NPR station WUWM Milwaukee.
