MADISON (WORT) — President Barack Obama announced another round of executive orders targeting U.S. immigration policy on Thursday night. Up to five million undocumented immigrants will no longer face deportation and can legally work in the United States under the reforms outlined by President Obama during a primetime address.
In full cry, GOP lawmakers lambasted Mr. Obama for asserting presidential authority while Republicans prepare to govern with majorities in both houses of Congress. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) calls the executive actions “lawless” and questions the constitutionality of the President’s sweeping changes to U.S. immigration law. Dylan Brogan reports.
