Two artists seek to explore issues of race, class, gender, and bias during their time as artists-in-residence at the Madison Public Library. Their ongoing public art pieces, collectively titled “Our Madison“, invite any and all members of the community to participate in the conversation, which in one piece takes the form of an enormous wall of sticky notes indicating each person’s hopes and concerns for Madison. One of the artists, Julie Koenke, joined us in the studio for the Monday Buzz.
