We can’t escape Covid-19 no matter how hard we try. It has affected all of us in many ways. Since the pandemic began, more people have said they’re talking about their mental health more with others, citing the fact that knowing “other people are also struggling” is the top reason why.
On February 15th on the Access Hour we listened to 5 crisis counselors who worked with Project Recovery, and their guests; a nurse, an elderly father, and two sisters with children as they talked about their personal experiences with Covid-19.
If you’re having a hard time asking for help or naming what you need, start with a trusted person in your life who has been there for you. Project Recovery is also here for you. We have over 50 crisis counselors across the state to help people work through the struggles that Covid-19 has inflicted on their lives. We’re here to listen. If you want to contact us, you can do so by calling 211 and asking to speak with a Project Recovery counselor, visiting our website at projectrecoverywi.org , or getting social with us on Facebook projectrecoverywi.
