Tony Castañeda speaks with Melissa Smith, an Elected Delegate at the Wisconsin Conservation Congress and Executive Director at Friends of the Wisconsin Wolf. They talk about a new bill being proposed by Reps. Adam Jarchow (R-Balsam Lake), Mary Felzkowski (R-Irma),
Romaine Quinn (R-Rice Lake), and Sen. Tom Tiffany (R-Hazelhurst) that would stop game wardens from enforcing state or federal laws related to Wisconsin’s wolf population. This would mean game wardens would be unable to prevent illegal wolf killings.
