Radio Chipstone contributor Gianofer (JON nah fer) Fields is also the host of Refrangible, a podcast steeped in Material Culture. To start the second season, she wanted to examine the relationship between how we express ourselves with clothing. This edition of Radio Chipstone is an excerpt from the premier episode of that podcast. Her guest is artist and retired UW Madison Professor, Henry Hawkins. In this conversation, Hawkins and Fields discuss what we may believe to be our own personal style, which could come from a lifetime of external pressures.
