There are times when if you are very lucky, you meet someone who changes your life for the better. For contributor Gianofer (JON nah fer) Fields, that person is Professor Ann Smart Martin. Martin is the Stanley and Polly Stone (Chipstone)……you see where this is going…Professor Emeritus of American Decorative Arts and Material Culture for the Art History Department at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Their relationship spans just over a decade and in all of that time, one thing has changed. It’s the edition of Emertus to Professor Martin’s title. In this edition of Radio Chipstone, Fields and Martin spent a lovely summer day chatting about where it all began.
