Earlier this month the Amish Community held the Clearview School 26th Annual Quilt and Consignment Auction. The event is a fundraiser for the school and an opportunity for folks from around the region and beyond to purchase handmade quilts and other handicrafts. There is also food. Like homemade ice cream…churned by a horse. Okay, the horse had some help from Amish Community member Nelson Detweiler. In this edition of Radio Chipstone, contributor Gianofer (JON nah fer) Fields also gets a little help from fellow watcher of a horse churning ice cream and auction attendee…Lyle.
Nelson Detweiler ia a member of the Wisconsin Amish Community. Lyle was in attendance at the Clearview School 26th Annual Quilt and Consignment Auction held in Brodhead Wisconsin.
