Radio Astronomy co-hosts Brianna Smart and Diego Casanova explain why astronomers want a radio telescope on the moon. The hope for the radio telescope is that it will be placed on the L2 point on the moon. The radio telescope will be able to communicate with the lunar rover. Radio waves end up on the light spectrum and they tend to be very busy, with the amounts of radio stations that are played through them it gets very noisy.
