“I’ve always loved Madison… and I strive to make the city a better place from all the positions I’ve had in the city.”
Today on the show, we speak with one of the three candidates for Madison Mayor this spring: Scott Kerr.
Kerr is a longtime employee for the City of Madison, working for the city for about forty-two years. He currently works as one of the city’s lead traffic engineer, and previously worked in the Parking Utility and Building Inspection agency. In his free time, he says, he’s a thrifter, cactus gardener and e-biker.
In this hour full of callers, Scott tells about his campaign stance on a variety of issues, from fiscal responsibility to facilitating constituent feedback, to affordable housing and transit infrastructure.
You can find more about Scott Kerr at his website, skerr4mayor.com. He invites those interested in his campaign to email him at s.kerr4mayor@gmail.com.
