The Seeds of Africa program seeks to help bring a high quality education to talented youngsters in Ethiopia and elsewhere in Africa. The idea is that by training citizens to meet challenges in their own country, they can help lift themselves and others out of poverty. Photographer Audre Rae Krull recently returned from Ethiopia, and brought back with her hundreds of images documenting Seeds of Africa’s work. You can see Audre’s work starting the gallery opening this Saturday, April 26th at Madison’s Commonwealth Gallery. Audre Rae Krull and DJ Luke Bassuener (aka DJ Asumaya) joined the Monday Buzz on April 21, 2014.
For more interviews and music with Audre and Luke, be sure to check out their appearance on Global Revolutions.
