For today’s show, guest host Bert Zipperer spends the hour with Shannon Holsey, president of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians, to talk about the tribe’s history in Wisconsin and her recent State of the Tribes address.
Shannon Holsey is president of the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohican Indians. She has served in this role since being elected in 2015, following eight years as a member of the Tribal Council. Holsey also serves as vice president of the Great Lakes Inter-Tribal Council (GLITC).
