Since 2016, Snapshot Wisconsin has collected more than fifty million photos of the state’s wildlife. The volunteer-powered, citizen science project is an initiative of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and helps the state agency monitor and track the state’s animal populations.
For more on the project, and the fifty million photo milestone, WORT Producer Jonah Chester spoke with Christine Anhalt-Depies, Snapshot Wisconsin’s coordinator.
