A group of state lawmakers are introducing a bill that allows able-minded adults with terminal illnesses to end their lives. It would allow mentally able adults with terminal diseases who are expected to die within six months to ask their doctor for lethal medication that will kill them in their sleep. Proponents of the laws say that it gives terminally ill patients the chance to end their pain. But doctors aren’t on board. Martin Rakacolli has the story from the State Capitol.
