Earlier today, the Wisconsin Supreme Court heard oral arguments to decide the legality of both absentee ballot drop boxes and who needs to return a ballot for it to be counted.
The lawsuit was first brought forward by the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, or WILL, and was decided by a Waukesha County judge earlier this year.
That decision, which came just before the spring election, threw election officials through a loop, leaving them to wonder what was legal, and what was not. WORT Producer sat down with Scott Thompson, staff counsel with Law Forward, about the case.
