On March 15, 2019, thousands of students across the globe walked out of their schools as part of a global climate strike to protest their governments’ inaction on climate change. The protest included a strong showing from Wisconsin schools, as almost a thousand students descended on the Wisconsin Capitol. On Friday, May 24th, the Youth Climate Change Action Team for Wisconsin will once again gather in the State Capitol rotunda to demand action. This time, they’ve enlisted the support of Madison-based recycling artist Victor Castro, otherwise known as TetraPak Man. Protest organizers Max Prestigiacomo and Sophie Guthier, along with artist Victor Castro, joined Monday Buzz host Brian Standing.
