Disability Pride Festival in Madison
The reason we are able to celebrate disability pride is because 23 years ago today, the rights of persons with disabilities were acknowledged by the U.S. government. Pride festivals have occurred across the U.S. for about 10 years, but on Saturday, July 27th Madison will hold their First Annual Disability Pride Festival.
