Madison Exploring Public Broadband Despite State Prohibition
(WORT) — A study to investigate providing high-speed public broadband in Madison is just getting underway. Mayor Paul Soglin is a supporter of creating a public internet utility that would provide equal access to broadband for all residents and says this feasibility study is the first step to making the plan a reality.
