On Monday February 25th, John Quinlan and Norm Stockwell hosted a show celebrating the life of US Presidential nominee George McGovern and his lifelong friendship with Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson. They spoke to Bill Kristofferson, author of “The Man from Clear Lake: Earth Day Founder Senator Gaylord Nelson” as well as Nelson’s daughter Tia Nelson.
Barbara Nichols, President of the United Nations Associations of the United States of America, the Dane County Chapter, came by the studio on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Along side her was Todd Cummers, the Immediate Past President of the organization. The local chapters “provide local information regarding the United Nations goals that relate to social justice, humanitarian efforts and peace keeping,” said Nichols.
