On Thursday August 15th, host Allen Ruff discussed protests and controversy in Wisconsin and across the the world. For the first half of the hour, Ruff was joined by Gareth Porter, a historian with a PhD in Southeast Asian studies from Cornell University and an investigative journalist for the Inter Press Service, about the turmoil in Egypt and the possible “peace process” in the Israel-Palestine conflict.
