(WORT) — Members of the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents are set to review a new tenure policy next week. The UW became the center of national attention last year, after the state budget act removed tenure protections from law and gave the Regents the authority to set their own tenure policy. At the time, many claimed academic freedom was under fire from partisan political interests. But with the policy draft now in its final form, was the concern justified? Darien Lamen has more.
