More than a thousand community members gathered on an east Madison bike path Thursday night, less than a week after a women was raped and nearly murdered there while walking home.

MADISON (WORT) — In solidarity with the victim, community members are organizing an event to take back the bike path this Thursday night. Participants will gather at 7:00 PM on the Capital City bike path behind Mickey’s Tavern in Madison, near the corner of Williamson and Dickinson Streets. Darien Lamen reports.
