WEDC Dems Call For Federal Investigation
MADISON (WORT) — The two Democratic lawmakers who sit on the board of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) are calling for a federal corruption probe of Governor Scott Walker’s job-creation agency. This comes just days after a scathing audit of WEDC, a revealing investigation by the Wisconsin State Journal, and Walker announcing that the agency should eliminate its loan program.
