Last year, Wisconsin labor activists were thrilled when the US Postal Service awarded a contract to Wisconsin-based Oshkosh Defense to build their new fleet of USPS vehicles, which would bring over 1000 union jobs to the state.
But instead of producing those vehicles in Wisconsin, Oshkosh Defense created a new production plant in South Carolina, leaving Wisconsin production plants in the cold.
