As reported by the investigative reporters at Wisconsin watch.org, more and more residents throughout the state are finding that their drinking water is contaminated. The contaminants include bacteria and viruses, heavy metals, pesticides, and naturally occurring chemicals like arsenic and radium.
In urban areas, particularly Milwaukee but also Madison, lead pipes are exposing
children to harmful quantities of that heavy metal.
