Greetings rock ‘n’ rollers….
It is with a heavy heart I announce that Wednesday morning, April 3, between 2 am – 5 am, the last Leopard Print Lounge show will air on WORT 89.9 FM in Madison, Wisconsin.
Due to life circumstances and an ever-increasingly busy schedule, I cannot devote the time to the show – and to the wonderful musicians whose music I play – that it (and they) deserve.
I’ve hosted the Leopard Print Lounge for over 15 years. During that time I have met so many amazing listeners, bands, solo musicians, independent record label mavens, radio enthusiasts and fellow DJs from all over the planet. I’ve been fortunate to see live many of the bands I play, including as far away as Europe. I have made so many friends through this beautiful world of music.
Thank you to everyone who has listened, supported and sent music over the years. I love you all more than I can possibly express. And especially thanks to WORT and our fearless music staff, Sybil and Aaron, for their tireless assistance, support and love for music.
