Dr. Catherine Sameh is an Associate Professor of Gender and Sexuality Studies at UC-Irvine. Her research focus includes Iranian feminism, human rights, transnational feminisms, and gender and social movements in the Middle East and Muslim world. She is the author of Axis of Hope.
