The Wisconsin Poor People’s campaign is part of a national organization first founded by Martin Luther King and the SCLC in 1965. Labor Radio’s Keith Steffen interviewed Britnie Remer, trichair of the Wisconsin Poor People’s campaign, earlier this week.
The campaign estimates that there are one hundred and forty million poor and low income people in the United States. As a build up to the June 18th mass demo in DC the Campaign is conducting the MORE tour throughout the country. Britnie explains:

The Madison gathering will be at the top of State Street at 4:30 PM and the march at 5:00 PM on Friday March 28th.
