Chad & Jeremy will perform at The Brink Lounge on Wednesday, October 19 at 7:00 pm.
What do Downton Abbey, Batman and The Jungle Book have in common? They all employed the acting talents of the 60’s British Invasion folk rock duo, Chad & Jeremy, who are coming to town on October 19!
Not known for their acting skills together, Chad & Jeremy were a British folk rock duo from the 60’s. You might not think you know this group, but if you grew up anywhere around the 60’s, you have heard of them. Think of the beautiful lyrics “Trees… swaying in the summer breeze, showing off their silver leaves, as we walked by” in “A Summer Song”. Or the melancholy “For me you were the one, but that was yesterday and yesterday’s gone” in “Yesterday’s Gone”.
Noted on the popular 2015 series Mad Men, featured on the Rushmore soundtrack, and playing a fun role on the 60’s show Batman where Catwoman stole their voices, Chad & Jeremy have a well-rounded musical and acting career. Chad voiced one of the vultures in the Disney animated film Jungle Book, and most prominently, Jeremy played General Robertson in Season 2 of Downton Abbey!
Chad & Jeremy are coming to the Brink Lounge on Wednesday, October 19. The show is hosted by Live at Rick’s, a local promoter that brings high-quality shows to the Brink Lounge. Guests are provided with a listening room experience, free of the chit-chat and bar noise prevalent at other music venues, so you will be guaranteed to hear all of the Chad & Jeremy hits and their charming stories in between songs.
This is an historic concert, as Chad & Jeremy have not toured in Wisconsin since the summer of love in 1967! Who knows if they’ll be back again, so be sure to get your tickets early at www.rickleighmusic.com/events-tickets. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 day of show.
