This evening, Tandem Press Visiting Artist Michelle Grabner will lecture at the Chazen Museum of Art. Wisconsin-born Grabner, a former UW Madison Art Department faculty member, painter, conceptual artist, and a Whitney Biennial co-curator, works in variety of mediums including drawing, painting, video and sculpture. The UW-Madison Arboretum is recruiting dedicated people to volunteer as restoration team leaders and volunteer stewards. Restoration team leaders improve habitat and lead other volunteers at Saturday morning restoration work parties. Stewards walk the trails year-round, helping visitors, monitoring trail conditions, and more. Training is provided, and begins in late March. Advance registration is needed.
