Tonight, the UW Madison Center for the Humanities presents Anthony Grafton, Professor of History at Princeton University, with a lecture titled “A Life in the Margins.” Grafton tracks the history of reading and explores how the traces that readers have left in their books can be used to reconstruct the rich and complex experience of reading over time.
