Today is a lecture by Jacquelynne Eccles, from the University of California at Irvine, titled “Gender and STEMM.” On average, women and men pick different occupations within the spectrum of STEMM, an acronym for “science, technology, engineering, math, and the medical-health sciences.” Dr. Eccles will summarize her 40 years of research on this topic. Starting next week, Natasha Nicholson will offer Weekly Artist Talks at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art. Nicholson will provide insight into her creative process through these informal discussions offered on a drop-in basis on Tuesday afternoons and Friday evenings, beginning September 8th.
